For those who have a problem using tinctures that contain alcohol. Be aware that the alcohol must be used for extracting and preserving the active phytochemicals found in the herbs. Alcohol allows us to extract compounds and active ingredients from raw herbs to make potent and concentrated tinctures. The delivery system is much quicker getting into the bloodstream. Alcohol is a natural preservative that is shelf stable for many years.

However, if you are sensitive to alcohol, you can eliminate most the alcohol in the tinctures by adding the tincture dose to some warm water. As the water cools most of the alcohol will evaporate.

As an alternative: our skin is our largest organ, so by massaging tincture into our abdomen, or at the site of issue the product will be absorbed more directly.
