Cayenne pepper (capsaicin) provides flavonoids, vitamins A, C, B6, E, K, carotenoids, potassium, manganese, iron and omega-3 fatty acids making them rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory activity which in turn regulates the blood flowing through the circulatory system so that the pressure is equalised, aids digestion, is a counter-irritant bringing blood to the surface and allows toxins to be taken away. Cayenne Pepper may interfere with some medicines, so if you are taking prescription medications, it is advisable to consult your doctor before taking cayenne supplements.
