Why We Don't Offer Shop Pay
We do not offer Shop Pay at The Gumpii Apothecary. This is a deliberate decision to protect our customers' privacy and ensure that payment details are never stored, shared, or applied across other platforms without your explicit knowledge.
Shop Pay is a Shopify-wide accelerated checkout service that stores your payment details across all Shopify stores. While convenient, this means your card details can be retained and potentially used across platforms in ways that may not be immediately transparent to you as a customer.
We believe you should have full control over where and how your payment information is used. For this reason, we have made the conscious decision to disable Shop Pay entirely.
How We Accept Payments
We accept the following secure payment methods:
- Credit & Debit Card — Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, processed securely via Shopify Payments
- PayPal — for customers who prefer to pay via their PayPal account
Your Payment Security
All transactions on our store are encrypted and processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment gateways. We do not store your full card details on our systems.
