Organic Chamomile Extract (Matricaria chamomilla)
Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla), also known as German Chamomile, is one of the oldest and most widely used medicinal herbs in the world, with a documented history of use spanning over 2,000 years across Egyptian, Greek, Roman, and European herbal traditions. It remains one of the most popular and extensively researched herbs in contemporary Western herbal medicine and is consumed globally as both a medicinal herb and a traditional tea.
Chamomile belongs to the Asteraceae family and is characterised by its distinctive apple-like fragrance, due to naturally occurring chamazulene and bisabolol. This extract is prepared in 45% alcohol from certified organic Chamomile flowers.
